This chassis was bought off Ebay. The workmanship is not too good but I should be able to salvage the castings I think. It came with a boiler which,although not very pretty, looks as though it might hold water! Annie is a freelance 4-4-0 tender loco designed for beginners and was described in Model Engineer Volumes 69 to 71. The idea was that 'anybody' could build her!

The boiler actually looks more like one for Dairy Maid rather than Annie.

As part of the Britannia sale, I've picked up another chassis for Annie. The cylinders look a little better machined than the first ones so I may be able to use these instead.
